Legislative Seminar Series: House Bill 1775: Separating Fact from Fiction

The Legislative Seminar Series is designed to educate members on legislative topics and issues during the 2024 Legislative session. With such a vast statewide membership, this provides an opportunity for member to be prepared to advocate on behalf of the Oklahoma CareerTech system! These virtual lunch-n-learn sessions are free to attend and will be recorded to review post the session.

Session Description: In this presentation, Mr. Carey breaks down the language of the 8 prohibitions in the bill, explains what is and is not actually prohibited, and discusses examples of how topics can be taught without violating the law.
