This document is a summary of OkACTE's current processes and privacy policies and is not intended to be a legally binding contract, nor is it intended to replace OkACTE's  complete Privacy Policy, which is subject to change without notice.

Your Privacy and OkACTE

Your privacy is of great importance to us. Information that you submit will be held in the strictest confidence and will be used only by OkACTE officials for registration, membership reporting and other similar services. The information that you submit will be used:

  • For communication with you regarding membership opportunities.

  • Membership Analytics 

  • To notify you of our future programming

  • Oklahoma Summit conference planning, divisional and committee reporting

Under no circumstances will your information be given or sold to unaffiliated third parties.

What We Collect and Where We Store It

A Safe and Secure Process

In the process of registering you for Oklahoma Summit and divisional membership, in order to uniquely identify you in our database, we will collect the following information:

  • Name and address

  • Social Security number 

  • Date of birth

  • Credit card information, checking information

  • Employer affiliation 

Both your personal data and your membership registration information are permanently stored in the OkACTE database. In addition, a list of the divisional and conference registration you selected is stored in a web-accessible database that allows us to provide you with membership reporting such as a list of other divisions, conferences attended, and other membership programming. No payment information (e.g., your credit card number) will be stored permanently on Internet-connected systems.

We are very aware of the need for Internet security, and make every effort to prevent others from inadvertently or maliciously gaining access to your records. Whenever we collect information from you across the Internet, we currently use 256-bit TLS encryption.
