OkACTE represents Region IV in excellence in membership engagement. The association’s success is rooted in mentorship and leadership support, networking opportunities, and professional learning. A key strategy of OkACTE is communication. It is critical that we continue to keep members informed on legislative issues and opportunities to advocate on behalf of CTE. Over the past 13 years, it has been my honor to serve as a T&I instructor in Southern Oklahoma. During my tenure, I took advantage of every opportunity offered by the association to include serving as a Region IV Fellow. My OkACTE experiences have grounded me in the importance of knowing my “why” as it relates to my personal and professional life. Therefore, when I am elected as OkACTE President-Elect, it will be my mission to ensure members understand the "why" we must continue to advocate and tell the career tech story. What is your "Why"?
