Legislative Seminar Series: Oklahoma CareerTech System Overview

The Legislative Seminar Series is designed to educate members on legislative topics and issues during the 2024 Legislative session. With such a vast statewide membership, this provides an opportunity for member to be prepared to advocate on behalf of the Oklahoma CareerTech system! These virtual lunch-n-learn sessions are free to attend and will be recorded to review post the session.

Session Description: Oklahoma’s approach to the delivery of Career and Technical Education is unique and often misunderstood.  This presentation was developed as a discussion guide for meeting with elected officials to help them have a greater knowledge of Oklahoma’s CareerTech system; particularly as they are considering legislation.  It also provides an opportunity for those of us who work within the system to have a better understanding  of how our different delivery arms work together (and independently) to provide value to Oklahoma’s economy and our citizenry.
