Oklahoma CTE professionals traveled to Arlington, Virginia March 21-23 Arlington, Virginia for ACTE’s National Policy Seminar (NPS). NPS promotes engagement on key education policy topics, it educates participants on best practices for influencing federal policy related to CTE advocacy and messaging, and participation of Capitol Hill visits.
This year Oklahoma was well represented! Our members were educated on policy issues Monday, March 21 and were dynamic in their Hill visits with the US Congressional member offices!
Hill Visits
This year Oklahoma CTE professionals met as a group in a congressional office building and members of our Oklahoma Delegation sent staff to discuss pressing CTE issues.
