OkACTE Partners in Change Series: “ Voting Rights Act”

This session will provide an overview of the Voting Rights Act, its history, and its significance within the American political system. Information regarding how this Act continues to impact current electoral politics and policy. A brief overview of some of the current issues surrounding minority voting rights will also be discussed.
