We are offering these pre-conference industry tours which will run on the Tuesday morning April 16, 2019 from

9:00 am -12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Deep Deuce Walking Food Tour

Cost: $40

Walk your way through a one-of-a kind culinary experience with Foodie Foot Tours. Mixed with architectural views and historical points, you get to enjoy Oklahoma City in a way you never imagined.

Your tour will start in the historic Deep Deuce, an area filled with African American history and deep jazz roots. Landmarks and historical buildings line this tour with stops at specific points to give you details that take you back in time.

The real fun begins when we start the dining experience.

We like to show off our local restaurants because they are vital to the community and each places has its own history and background to share with you all.

Industry partnering with education: Centek, Inc. Plant Tour and Francis Tuttle Technology Center Industrial Technology Center Tour

Cost:  Free


Join us to see first-hand how industry and education can partner together. This tour begins at Centek, Inc., which manufacturers a casing centralizer used in the oil and gas industry. At Centek, you will learn about the partnership they have with Francis Tuttle Technology Center. After touring Centek, Inc., participants will travel to the Reno Campus of Francis Tuttle Technology Center and tour the new $6.5 million, 27,225-square-foot Industrial Technology facility and learn more about the facility and the Advanced Manufacturing Program. Special Notes: This tour is limited to 25 attendees during both time slots. Additionally, all tour participants MUST wear closed toed shoes and have their legs covered. Protective eyewear will be provided.

Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum Tour

Cost:  $18

Visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum and experience the history unspeakable violence turned into a symbol of strength. This tour includes transportation via Oklahoma City’s new streetcar system including a pass good for a full day of use. The pass to the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum provides admission to the museum and grounds allowing for self-guided tours in the individuals own time frame. Climate and Energy Control Technologies (HVACR) Career Training Facility

Cost:  Free

The new Climate and Energy Control Technologies (HVACR) Career Training Facility provides an abundance of state-of-the-art training aids. The addition of the faux house allows students to practice realistic HVAC installs.  Our Lab can simulate almost any scenario a student might encounter working in the HVAC industry. This gives our students a better training experience and allows our teachers to teach current and industry relevant skills. Nationally Acclaimed Aviation Career Campus

Cost:  Free

Located on the grounds of the Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City, the Metro Technology Centers' nationally acclaimed Aviation Career Campus offers a quality training experience to prepare aircraft maintenance technicians. The program prepares students for entry employment in aviation maintenance or in a variety of service technician positions throughout the world. The Airframe Mechanic major is certified under Part 147 of the Federal Aviation Regulations with an FAA-approved and -supervised curriculum.
