In such a busy world we are always working from one deadline to the next. As professionals we keep our heads down, taking care of business is a mantra that many of us live by. As members of OkACTE it is important to look up and see the big picture. Our membership is very diverse and with that comes many unique opportunities. To capitalize on these opportunities, it is vital for our organization to work together. Unification of all facets in our industry will provide our members with greater benefits. As we look to the future I want to encourage each and every one of us to focus on the ever changing needs of our membership. To work with one another to help make our organization better for our members. Legislative advocacy is one way to help our membership. Another way is to create a OkACTE Emergency Relief Fund, for members who are hit with tragedies.

"I never thought I could be a champion for CTE since I was not in the classroom, but I have quickly learned that regardless of your role in our association that you can be an agent of change.
My involvement in OkACTE is what makes me excited and ready to lead this organization on a higher level. I don’t know it all, but I am committed to learning and would be dedicated to being the best leader of OkACTE and representing our state well.
If I was elected as OKACTE President-Elect, I would use this platform to educate others, especially the younger members of our organization, so we can all speak in one accord and make the most of our collective voice. I think it is important that all members see the value of this organization and feel invited to be a part."
