New and Related Services (NRS)

A division of the Oklahoma Association of Career & Technology Education

New and Related Services provides an avenue for associates in Oklahoma's system of Career and Technology Education to come together for the purpose of engaging in networking and professional development opportunities and working collectively for the betterment of CareerTech Education in Oklahoma as well as providing quality training for assisting the state's citizens in securing their futures.

NRS Awards Procedure

Information on our Sections:

OKIM (Oklahoma Instructional Materials)

Founded in 1992, OKIM is a professional organization comprised of curriculum professionals and media specialists from throughout the state of Oklahoma.

CMO (Communications & Marketing)

The division coordinates career and technology education media exposure at the local, statewide and national levels. It also coordinates the Public Information Officers Council, which is comprised of Technology Centers public information officers

STW (School-To-Work)

This site is designed to promote communication between the Oklahoma STW Office, state and local representatives, grantees, and any other interested parties including businesses, colleges, and universities, K-12 schools, technology centers, students, and parents.

SSS (Support Staff Section)

We are the Support Staff Section of the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Education. Our members include support staff personnel from Oklahoma technology centers.

TeleTech

The TeleTech group was formed in the fall of 1997. Our member base includes all Career and Technology education staff who have responsibilities that are technology-related. This includes network administrators, web site developers, videoconferencing managers, and developers of web-based instructional applications, to name a few.
